The Harvest, a feature-film documentary directed by the acclaimed documentary filmmaker Samuel D. Pollard and written by the Pulitzer Prize winning author, Douglas A. Blackmon, depicts one southern town’s painful struggle to integrate its public schools at the height of the civil rights movement and the repercussions of those events continuing to the present day.
Currently in production, this film is produced with Five Dollar Films in association with the Georgia Humanities Council and slated for presentation by the award-winning PBS series American Experience in 2023.
